We knew it was going to be a beautiful day today after a week of rain, so instead of just taking a walk through our neighborhood this morning, we drove to San Francisco, and took a long walk along the beach.  It was soon apparent we weren't the only ones with this idea, but it didn't matter.  There was plenty of room for everyone!

Went shopping for a dress for Bryan's wedding.  This was my favorite, but there's still plenty of time to change my mind!

It's time to take pictures for the school yearbook.  This morning I snapped some of our Math Blast team.  I had a chance to peek at some of the problems they were working on.  Let's just say, I could never be part of this team!  (And they are only 5th and 6th graders!!)

Shawna had an appointment today for a sample bridal hairdo.  Britta is amazing and did a great job... it turned out beautiful.  But then I always think Shawna looks beautiful!

I'm playing catch-up, so you will see several pictures of 'my boys' (great nephews) while I'm editing them.  They are faces I will never get tired of!

We took a drive today to Old Town Folsom following the back road route that the Amgen Tour will be taking when they ride into Modesto in May.  It was a beautiful spring-like day, and we ate lunch out on an upstairs patio overlooking Old Town.  Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, they had these balloons flying.

This beautiful chintz vase that Shawna bought at a garage sale this morning was perfect for these vintage white roses.  She bought the vase for her wedding reception.

I found this vintage china in a consignment shop.  It was a place setting for 12 in perfect condition and with all the 'extras'.  I bought it for Shawna's wedding where she is going to mix and match vintage china for her wedding reception dinner.

Today I hung out in the park with my great nephews.  Trying to take pictures of them was like shooting a moving target.  We had fun!
